Meadowbrook Country Club has delivered one of the best golf experiences I’ve had in the Richmond area. Talk about white glove service. This is the type of experience you’d expect at a premier invite only golf destination. The course conditions have been exceptional and easily among the best around, which is even more impressive considering how hot and dry this summer has been. What really sets Meadowbrook apart though is the people. Marc and George have both gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions when I was in a pinch and needed a hand. Even Nick too who got us set with carts was a class act. That same attitude seems to carry throughout the entire golf staff. Great food and Bev people too! I don't know how they do it, maybe their management just treats their staff with dignity and respect, but they all genuinely look for opportunities to make your experience better. There are plenty of great golf courses, but combining a great course with this level of hospitality is something special. Meadowbrook absolutely nails both.

First off, I don't recommend joining unless you have a charitable heart. This club will lie and obfuscate the facts then turn around and bill you 5 grand as a brand new member for their capital assessments since they are over a million in debt that they don't bother to disclose until it’s too late. Nothing at this club is worth that kind of money. They're so bad off they admitted no banks will lend to them. If you join now, it's now on your head to pay this off--which they estimate they will only be able to lower to 800k in five years. The office is constantly messing up and double-billing you, or billing for things you didn't even buy. No wonder they are in so much debt! The food service is laughable--why does it take 45 minutes to get a burger made, and then when you receive it, they managed to mess the order up? One time I had to send my order back three separate times until they got it right. I didn't even order something complicated. It is a BURGER! Not to mention the food always comes to the table lukewarm at absolute best. You can be the one diner in the entire place and this still manages to happen. They also seem utterly incapable of serving wine at the correct temperatur

Meadowbrook Country Club is an amazing private club located south of the city of Richmond with a lot of history. This course served as the home course to touring pros John Rollins and major champion Lanny Wadkins when they were growing up. The staff and members were very courteous and welcomed me as if I were one of their own which made for a great round. The course was in amazing shape and is one of the best courses I’ve played in the Richmond area and the facilities were top notch.

I recently hosted a retirement event at Meadowbrook CC. From booking the event until the actual event, Country Club staff were incredibly responsive and extremely helpful on all levels. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the venue. The selected food menu items were delicious.
